Chamomile is known to be an antioxidant, moisturizer and soother.  It is beneficial to all skin types, but especially for those with sensitive skin including babies.  Its anti-inflammatory abilities help to reduce redness and soothe irritated skin.  Chamomile contains polyphenols and phytochemicals, which speed up cell regeneration and protect the skin from free radicals.

Kaolin clay gently cleanses skin, making it an excellent choice for those with sensitive skin.  It helps extract impurities and absorb excess oils without causing inflammation or redness.

Cornstarch, arrowroot, and tapioca powders are all great at soothing irritated skin.  These three powders all have a silky smooth texture which is perfect for a sore baby’s bum.  These powders can absorb excess oils and moisture without drying out baby’s skin.
