These bars have an excellent creamy lather and are very moisturizing.  They are made with my basic, go-to recipe.  This was my first truly successful recipe and it makes a hard, long-lasting bar.  Although the bare bars don’t come with all the frills of the fancy bars, they are the building blocks of all my cold process creations.  When coming up with new recipes, I start here and add and tweak ingredients until I get something new that stands up to the hardness and great lather of my original.
