Coconut oil is one of the most cleansing oils, making it a great choice for laundry, dish, and other household cleaning.  It has a great lather and makes a very hard, long lasting bar.  These stain sticks are unscented.  Just dampen the stained cloth and rub the stick against it.  If the stain soaked through, it is a good idea to turn the cloth inside out and attack the stain from both sides.  Afterwards, you can wash the cloth in the washing machine as you normally would.  I have found the stick to be effective on older stains too.
